Dr. Nicholas Pigneri, DDS, LVIF

Nicholas Pigneri, DDS, LVIF earned the designation of Fellow from LVI Global (LVI) in June 2022.   The Fellow distinction is awarded only to those doctors who successfully complete the LVI CORE Series (which includes a minimum of 278 continuing dental education hours), as well as a comprehensive exam covering the skills and techniques taught in the LVI CORE Series.

Dr. Nicholas Pigneri was also honored to be selected by his peers as a Houstonia Top Dentist 2020, 2021 & 2022.  Earning his dental degree in 2010 from The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, he was an Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors fraternity Honored Freshman and presented with the Ethics and Morality Award at the graduation awards banquet for dental school. Honesty and integrity form the center of Dr. Pigneri’s dental practice.

Alyssa, RDA

A born and raised Houstonian, Alyssa joined our team in 2016 and attended the Las Vegas Institute in 2017 for education on Physiologic Dentistry. She is passionate about creating a relaxed environment where patients can feel comfortable and confident while in the dental chair. Some of Alyssa’s favorite things to do include practicing yoga, enjoying her favorite sweet treats, traveling with friends and family, and loving on her Yorkshire terrier Sir Lancelot. Alyssa is married to her elementary school sweetheart and best friend.

Channi, RDA

Channi has been in the dental field since 2011. Her twin sister actually influenced her decision to go into this field and she has never looked back. Channi has worked with Dr. Akers for 9 years and counting! Channi is passionate about making the dental experience as comfortable as possible for her patients.

On her time off, Channi enjoys spending time with her husband, Karl, her daughter, Karley, and her fur babies Padfoot and Lily. She is also an avid reader and enjoys watching documentaries.

Daniell, RDA, Office Manager

Originally from San Jose, Costa Rica Daniell has called Houston home for over 30 years. Daniell has been working in the dentistry field as a Registered Dental Assistant, New Patient Coordinator and Office Manager for 15 years.
Daniell attends ongoing training at The Las Vegas Institute for Dental Studies and has since 2009. Daniell has attended courses in Invisalign, Physiologic Dentistry, Practice Management, Periodontal Therapy, Patient Care and Customer Service.

Experienced in helping patients understand their dental health, Daniell explains treatment details while making sure patients receive clear answers to all their questions.

Daniell and her husband Brian have two awesome little boys, Jacob and Eli. In her spare time, you will find Daniell with family and friends, outdoors, or reading a good book.

Deissy, RDH

Deissy (pronounced “Daisy”) is very unique in her passion and patient care.  With over 13 years of experience in the dental field, her greatest satisfaction is the impact she has on the overall health of every patient.  Passionate about providing individualized care to each patient, Deissy strives to ensure her patients receive the necessary understanding and tools for achieving optimal oral health.

Deissy attended The University of Texas Dental Branch School of Dental Hygiene where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in 2008.  Deissy is also certified by the Institute of Advanced Laser Dentistry, which allows her to provide patients with the latest technology and the best care.

She joined Houston Dentists at Post Oak full-time in August 2018, where she has won the hearts of patients with her gentle style and instruction-based care.  Being bi-lingual in English and Spanish has furthered Deissy’s reach to a broader spectrum of patients.

In her time off, Deissy enjoys adventures through travel, spending time with family on their cattle ranch, volunteering, staying fit, and being a foodie at heart!

Cindy, Concierge

Cindy was born and raised in Houston, TX. Cindy is passionate about dentistry, and enjoys getting to know all of the patients and making sure they receive quality service and attention. Cindy loves assisting patients with their insurance inquiries and treatment plans.

She is also dedicated to helping patients with every step of their dental visit, from making them feel comfortable and scheduling their appointments, to processing their insurance claims. Cindy is proud to be part of the Houston Dentists at Post Oak team, where she is able to demonstrate her talents and skills with a team that treats her like family.

In her free time, Cindy loves to spend time with her husband and son. She also volunteers for her parents’ church events.
